ALLAN E. HARRISON'S BIOGRAPHY

Allan E. Harrison was born in Arizona in 1925 and grew up in Wisconsin. Then he moved back to Arizona and attended a College in Arizona. After a year and a half, Harrison moved to California and eventually received a B.A. in Social Science from a College in California. After this, he attended a Law School in California. Presently, he lacks only a year to complete a law degree.
Following college life, Harrison served 10 years on active duty in the USAF, being discharged as a Captain in the Reserves. Immediately after this, in 1959, he became a public elementary school teacher in a Unified School District of Southern California - earning a "Lifetime Elementary Credential." While teaching and at night, he also completed numerous college graduate studies in education subjects.
As he began to teach and observe authoritarian teaching methods, which created great stress, work & problems for everyone, he innovated what is called the "Harrison System" of self accountability. For15 years he used it and personally taught the "System" to hundreds of teachers and parents. Then, after many unsuccessful struggles with education's managers and union executives who wanted to prevent extensive System use, Harrison shamefully allowed himself (in 1974) to be "disability" pensioned - for (of all things) a "broken arm." This successful employment termination, his administrators believed, would prevent Harrison from easily teaching other teachers his System - and, an extensive loss of employment for them. After all, in each manager's mind, it was selfishly believed that the public couldn't blame them for wanting to be needed and for trying to protect their own "bread & butter" - human nature being what it is. Selfish administrator logic also demanded the facing of facts:  Self-reliant, System pupils require few managers - only advisors to prevent mistakes and a payment in "Valuable Points" for democratically decided misbehavior.
During his employment as a public school teacher, Harrison's school district tried to prevent implementation of the System in other teachers' classrooms by every means they possibly could. For example, the District's managers allowed Harrison to implement a "Pilot Project." Sixty-five pupils were placed in his 6th grade classroom at the start of the school year. These were the "unwanted" students of the other teachers in the district. Only Harrison and his System were in control.      The System surprised everyone - much to the horror of school administrators. Harrison's pupils, with an average IQ of about 90, doubled their academic achievement and improved their attitudes, behavior and IQ's so much that their former teachers frequently stated that they would like to have their rejected pupils back again. This drastic improvement was also duplicated with many other classrooms and even a whole school district (Warner Union School District). Thus, Harrison's district managers were greatly disappointed and even frightened. The reasons were obvious. Instead of stressing and overworking the teacher (Harrison), and accomplishing disappointing results with an overloaded classroom of "rascals," as is customary in conventionally managed classrooms, such an overload of  System students created pleasure and joy for everyone at tremendously reduced cost. So, The managers now knew some of their jobs might be in jeopardy as class size grew and decreased costs. So, Harrison had to go!
Upon disability retirement, Harrison wrote four System instruction books which are available to anyone needing them (Click on the website below). Such manuals continue to provide System success on a permanent basis for the future of society. Moreover, Harrison has also now personally taught many parents & teachers his System. The proof is available to anyone caring to examine the many websites listed at:  www.behaviormodsuperkids.com
Also, Harrison established two different private elementary schools. One school existed successfully for a school year in Santa Ana, California. Another elementary school operated successfully at a later date for a year in San Diego, California. Both schools were terminated (through no fault of Harrison) because the school lost its lease on the building utilized. This could never occur today, since Harrison is now much older and wiser.
